The 27-year-old Luciana Michele de Oliveira Dorta died Thursday night in the city of Limeira, 150 kilometers (93 miles) north of Sao Paulo, said Gabriela Praxedes, a spokeswoman for the Santa Casa Hospital. Dorta had 70 percent of her body burned on Dec. 11 after being tied up inside a car that was set fire by two men trying to cover up a robbery in the small city of Braganca Paulista, 100 kilometers (60 miles) north of Sao Paulo.
