A theater night at the LusoCentro of Bristol Community College in Fall River is taking place on Saturday, November 8 at 7 p.m. The LusoCentro is sponsoring The Cardinals Supper by Jlio Dantas, one of the most famous plays of the Portuguese theater, and the group CRIAMAR from Funchal, Madeira will be making the presentation. As reported in later editions of the Daily Echo, the alarm was first raised on Sunday while the ship was travelling from Funchal in Madeira en route for Southampton, when a German woman passenger was reported missing by family and friends. The last confirmed sighting of her was on Saturday, December 30, while the ship was sailing in waters off Portugal. (Daily Echo)
