Exhibit tells feathered dinosaurs' story Nov 15, 2008
The show comes from the Dinosaur Museum in Utah in association with the Fossil Administration Office in Liaoning, China, and the Liaoning Beipiao China Shihetun Museum of Paleontology. Another part of the exhibit may remind people of the raptors in the movie "Jurassic Park." Six figures seem to be on a rampage: three feathered Deinonychus and three nonfeathered Deinonychus. ETSU begins exchanges with universities in China, India Nov 6, 2008
ETSU students will visit fossil sites in Beipiao City, Jiayin County and the Fushun coal mines to collect and study fossils at each venue. An exchange program has been established with Keimyung University in Daegu, South Korea. (East Tennessean, TN)
Forget Indiana Jones: Dinosaur hunter Xu digs it Jun 10, 2008

He recognizes that what appear to be lumps of stone jutting from a rock formation are actually the remains of a 49-foot, long-necked, plant-eating Sauropod from 120 million years ago. The first major exhibit will be "Feathered Dinosaurs and the Origin of Flight." It's organized and circulated by The Dinosaur Museum in Utah in association with The Fossil Administration Office in Liaoning, China and the Liaoning Beipiao China Shihetun Museum of Paleontology. While the museum is losing the additions, it has constructed a "backpack" structure onto the main building. (Fresno Bee -- Local)
