Madison's cross country runners have their first competition on Aug. 29 when they host the John Collignon Invitational at the Madison Country Club at 4 p.m.. Football Coach Tom Milne and his staff have 30 varsity players and 20 freshmen putting in three two-a-day sessions on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. They will also practice at 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.
