We know the importance of building in town, Frieze told the council and those who filled the meeting room at the Indian Hills Golf Course, adding the middle school and high school will stay where they are but new construction will have to be ramped up because most will be in the flood plain. Indian Hills Golf Course is set to receive 925,000 in state funding for planned improvements under Gov. Eliot Spitzer's 2008-09 budget proposal. According to the state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation's Web site, 850,000 will go toward the construction of new maintenance buildings at Indian Hills, which was purchased by the state last year.
