    Water main breaks hit Clairemont, Point Loma  May 6, 2008
    Water crews are repairing a 6-inch cast iron water main on Golden Park Avenue near Bangor Street that broke about noon. About 20 homes in that area of Point Loma had their water shut off at 12:40 p.m. Water is not expected to be turned back on until 8 p.m., Collins said. (San Diego Union-Tribune)
