Thursday evening the Pep Rally will begin at 7 p.m. followed by the bonfire at 8 p.m. The homecoming parade, ts Showtime Tigers, will get underway at 3 p.m. on Friday followed by the football game between the Macon Tigers and the Louisiana Bulldogs at Hugh Dunn Field at 7 p.m. Students will wrap up the week's festivities with the homecoming ance from 9 to 11 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. I remember going as a Little Leaguer and watching future major leaguers such as Lou Piniella and Mark Belanger; and, of course, Earl Weaver, the Pioneers' manager from 1962-1965, who would go on to become one of the big leagues' most colorful [and successful] characters.
