Mr. Gindlesperger was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 10-5; Pennsylvania State Education Association; National Education Association; Superior Teachers Bowling League; Arrowhead Golf Course; and Pikeville Sportsmen's Association. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are three sisters: Joyce Miller, Hooversville; Janet wife of Bruce Weirich, Boswell; and Joan Gindlesperger, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Jason Lunt, formerly of Carthage, set a record with a hole-in-one on Friday, July 17, on the 334-yard par-4 No. 14 hole at Arrowhead Golf Course in Camp Point. It is the first hole-in-one on No. 14 in the history of the course. (Carthage (Hancock County) Journal Pilot, IL)
