    Snowfall covers trails for a good city ski weekend  Dec 3, 2006
    Alyeska Resort reported snowfall of five inches at the base and eight inches at the summit in anticipation of opening today and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.. Hilltop Ski Area received five inches of snow and all its main runs are open. (Anchorage Daily News)
