    The work on the Little league baseball field in the Russellville city park is nearing completion. The Russellville city council provided the funding for the project. Several local businesses donated labor and materials. David Farmer, of Holly Tree Lawn Care donated his time and materials for resewing the outfield, CPS of Russellville donated the seed, Southern States donated the fertilizer, Benchmark Land Survey donated their time to do the layout of the field and the dirt to rebuild the infield was donated by Logan Aluminum. The Logan County Russellville Little League provides summer baseball for any child in Logan county ages 9-12. Signups will be held in January for the 2009 season.
