    Prison inmate dies at hospital in Casper  May 20, 2009
    Published: Tuesday, May 19, 2009 12:53 PM MDT Prison officials say a 63-year-old inmate at the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins has died after an ongoing health condition. Melinda Brazzale, a spokeswoman for the state corrections department, says Harold S. Edwards died Thursday at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. (Gillette News-Record, WY)

    Coulter had real-life mass casualty experience when, as a Life Flight nurse for the Wyoming Medical Center, he assisted the Carbon County Memorial Hospital in the 2006 bus crash in Rawlins that had about 40 casualties but no fatalities, he said. The small, private hospital converted its nine-bed recovery area to an intensive care unit where victims were examined by nurses and doctors, with the assistance of a pharmacist, respiratory therapists and other health care providers.     On I-80, the signs will be installed over both lanes at the Hadsell Interchange west of Rawlins and between Rawlins and Sinclair, and over the westbound lanes east of the Fort Bridger and Little America interchanges. Twenty-one road weather information systems will be installed on I-80, including 15 to provide additional information on conditions on the section between Laramie and Rawlins, where WyDOT is now using variable speed limit signs to slow traffic to a speed safe for conditions.
