    Man dies after car plunges into canal  Nov 10, 2008
    Authorities said the driver lost control of his vehicle and plunged into a canal at the intersection of Pine Island road and Coral Ridge Drive. The BSO Dive Team worked to free the man who was inside the vehicle. (WSVN-TV Miami, FL)

    Woman Dies After Jet Ski Accident  Apr 7, 2008
    A Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officer said 36-year-old Shannon Fralicker was jumping waves on a personal watercraft about 1:30 p.m. in the Pine Island area north of St. Augustine when she hit a wave and was thrown against the handlebars. Fralicker was transported by air ambulance to Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center, where she died several hours later. (News4Jax.com, FL)

    Three friends die in Plantation crash  Feb 5, 2007
    A Plantation police officer found the three about 6 a.m. inside a wrecked, black, four-door Mitsubishi against a tree between University Drive and Pine Island Road, Detective Rob Rettig said.
