    April, who represents the girls' mother, Maria Caiafa, said he found out about the Ocean City High School student's claims from an investigator he hired who did not speak with the student. The newspaper did not name the student but reported that they spoke with the student's mother, who said her son was not involved in a pursuit and declined a request to interview him.     Author pens third poety collection  Jan 4, 2007
    While caring for cottage at the Jersey shore, Halscheid facilitated writing workshops at the Ocean City Art Center and Atlantic Cape Community College, and also formed a creative writing monthly support group at the Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor. In addition to fodder for poems, the varied settings provided Halscheid with a certain calm that connected her with intense subjects and people, like her father, who suffered from brain damage.
