According to Undersheriff David Kopkau, a 53-year-old Midland man, David Torkelson, was driving a 1975 Suzuki 125 Enduro motorcycle when he crossed the centerline and collided head on with a 2005 Chrysler 300, driven by a 51-year-old Grand Ledge woman. Torkelson was pronounced dead at the scene and Kopkau said the driver of the Chrysler was transported to Munson Medical Center for injuries sustained in the crash and treated and released.
