Authorities search for Larned escapee Aug 6, 2008
Local and state law enforcement officials are looking for Perry Lee Isley Jr., 50, who escaped early Tuesday from the Sexual Predator Treatment Program at Larned State Hospital, a news release from the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services stated. Hospital staff members were unable to find Isley at 2 a.m. Tuesday and notified law enforcement officials. (Topeka Capital Journal)

Kansas authorities decided two years ago that Hendricks, who was the first person that state committed under its law and who after a decade had progressed to one of the highest phases of treatment, should be moved from Larned State Hospital to a group home in a community where he would be watched around the clock.
