Crews working to restore electricity on the Big Island Dec 7, 2007
Hawaii Electric Light Co. reports that its crews were able to clear a large tree that fell on transmission lines in the area of Holualoa (Kona), and restore power to approximately 700 customers at 5:04 a.m. today. Isolated power outages are ongoing in the Na'alehu Town, Discovery Harbor, Kahuku Ranch and Waiohinu areas affecting approximately 400 customers. (Honolulu Advertiser)
