Orange Avenue Bridge study mailed out Nov 4, 2009
DAYTONA BEACH -- About 2,000 Daytona Beach residents should be receiving information in the mail this week about a study of the Orange Avenue Bridge, according to a newsletter compiled by the city's public information officer. Volusia County, in cooperation with the Florida Department of Transportation, is conducting an in-depth evaluation of the 55-year-old bridge, known to some as the Veterans Memorial Bridge. Hospital food drive ends Thursday Nov 4, 2009
DAYTONA BEACH -- Those who want to help local people in need can drop off nonperishable food today or Thursday morning at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center. The new hospital off Williamson Boulevard in northwest Daytona Beach will accept donations from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and until 10 a.m. Thursday ...
