Carson City man dies from injuries in Friday crash Nov 11, 2008
(AP) -- A 54-year-old Carson City man has died from injuries he suffered in a crash on U.S. Highway 50 in Douglas County. Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman Chuck Allen says David Fried suffered the injuries after he lost control of his vehicle and hit an SUV about 11 p.m. Friday. (KRNV.com, NV)

Man killed after walking onto Reno highway Nov 11, 2008
Gary Castagne of Carson City, drove a 2006 Ford F-250 pickup, onto the highway from Moana Lane, transitioned into the center travel lane, and the front of the pickup struck the man, causing him to suffer life-threatening injuries, according to Allen. He was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center by ambulance and died from his injuries approximately four hours later, Allen said. (KRNV.com, NV)
