LAKEVIEW Oregon State Police Sgt. Steve Yates' actions when he rammed a stolen patrol car off the road were warranted, a Lake County grand jury said Wednesday. Yates struck the back of the Lake County Sheriff's patrol car driven by a Nampa, Idaho man, Anthoney Nickerson, March 25 after Nickerson nearly hit 10 cars head-on and was about to enter Lakeview at speeds exceeding 100 mph ...
