There are eight to 10 community-based organizations in Santa Maria that most likely will be tapped to distributed the nearly 500,000 in funds, including Good Samaritan Shelters, the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County, the Salvation Army and Catholic Charities, said Celeste Coelho-Hudson, Community Programs Manager for the city.
