Companies, such as South Korea Telecom, Korea Telecom and US-based Sprint Nextel, were already in talks to partner the Indian firm, the executive said, adding that the Tata Communications was not interested in roping in just a financial investor. The company, formerly state-run overseas calls monopoly VSNL before it was acquired by the Tata group in a 2002 privatisation, confirmed it could look at roping in a minority partner in the broadband business.
