Gordon helped secure a $50,000 grant-in-aid for the school, which was used on 13 new Apple computers for the art department, backup hardware for many of the schools files, and LCD projector screens for classrooms throughout the district. Ichabod Superintendent James Dexter said that he was extremely pleased to receive the $50,000 grant, as it enabled the school to get the Apple computers and editing programs which many students need when applying to various art and graphic design schools.
