Excellent crappie reports, with the old lake beds like Saddle Bags, Conklin and Round Lake providing the best catches. Fish are holding 9 1/2 feet deep on cover early in the day but being caught as deep as 12 1/2 feet on up in the afternoon. (Forest Scott County Times, MS)
