(March 11, 2008) - The 2008 Sacred Heart football season will kick-off on Saturday, August 30th with the Pioneers playing host to Assumption College as head coach released the upcoming schedule for the 16th season on the gridiron for the university. 2008 Sacred Heart Football Signings. Bill Romaniello (Monroe, CT) - Offensive Line - Masuk H.S. Romaniello, from nearby Monroe, is a 6'2", 275 pound offensive lineman. During 2007, his senior season, Romaniello led his team to the SWC Conference Championship and the Class L State Championship games. For his efforts in 2007, Romaniello earned CHSCA first team All-State honors. As a junior, he helped lead his team to the conference title game and was recognized with All-SWC second team honors.... Arciaga is coming off his best game in a Dragon uniform, completing 12 of 24 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns including a 64 yard bomb in a 35-23 win over the Hohenems Blue Devils on Saturday.
