DURHAM Bill Herrion was introduced as the savior of the University of New Hampshire basketball program two years ago last week, so maybe it's only fitting he go through a little bit of suffering. It's been a strange offseason at UNH. Since a disappointing 10-20 campaign ended, five scholarship players and one assistant coach have left the program, four recruits have committed, and fans have been left wondering if the first two years of Herrion's tenure were some sort of false start. The University of New Hampshire basketball program has recently reached a verbal agreement with Rony Tchatchoua of the Findlay Prep School in Las Vegas to play for the Wildcats at the start of the 2007-2008 season.
