NCAA proposes texting ban Apr 25, 2007
() MILWAUKEE -- The call came Friday afternoon, interrupting Marquette volleyball coach Pati Rolf while she was in the middle of lunch with a recruit at the Alumni Memorial Union. It was a reporter who wanted to talk about news that the NCAA was recommending a ban on forms of electronic correspondence, including text messaging, between coaches and recruits. (U-Wire.com)
