    Five Adel-DeSoto-Minburn baseball players were recognized on the All-Raccoon River Conference team, with three of the players being recognized for the class 3A All-District team by the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association after a strong season that saw them win their district, but fall in their substate championship game. Sophomores Cory Ferm and Chad Pickering, and senior Zach Hutzell were all selected for Second Team All-Raccoon River Conference, as well as the class 3A All-Central-District team.     The Creston catcher caps his senior year this weekend in the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Series in Des Moines, and does so as the Class 3A first-team catcher for the second consecutive season. As a Class 1A player for Lenox, Evans was on the first all-state team as a freshman and second team as a sophomore, when he helped the Tigers win the 1A state championship.
