Because she has never mastered the casting reels Norten and I use, Gloria fishes with lighter spinning gear and 6-pound test line, and I guess there was a weak place in it. She was upset about losing my lure, but I comforted her by assuring her I had lots of them, and allowing as how if she would feed and water my Labradors for a couple of days, and make me some strawberry pancakes for breakfast I would call it even. I use some of those casting reels for bigger bass on reservoirs, and fish with plastic baits ... Casting reels should be used with lures and weights of 3/8 ounce or larger ... It is wise to stay away from push-button spin-casting reels if you want to become a serious fisherman. (Camdenton Lake Sun Leader, MO)

They have a line of bait casting reels that are second to none and a rod that has to be the best buy on the market. The rods, Trion, are the same as last year and the reels have an addition that is worthy of being there. (Bainbridge Post Searchlight, GA)
