I think I have a better grasp of what to expect, as I've had the ability to play Game Boy Advance games on television since a couple of months after the GBA system launched in the US. Official Game Boy Advance developers can order what's called an AGB Capture unit, a piece of hardware produced by Intelligent Systems (yes, the Metroid Fusion/Advance Wars folk) that outputs the GBA's signal to the standard Nintendo video/audio outputs.
