    A juvenile red-tailed hawk has taken passes at ducks in the duck pond and a Canada goose apparently the young hawk has not yet learned that a goose is too big. Other wildlife that has been encountered at Drumlin Farm this fall includes baby painted and snapping turtles about the size of a quarter when hatched in late summer, a Cooper's hawk, two wood ducks, a green heron, a red-shouldered hawk, ravens, bluebirds, a field sparrow, a flicker, three turkeys, raccoons, deer, and a skunk.     The state bird, a relative of the Canada goose, has been listed as an endangered species protected under federal law since 1967. Thomas Kaiakapu, who works for the state Department of Land and Natural Resources as a district wildlife biologist on Kauai, said the dead Hawaiian geese will be sent to Honolulu next week for a necropsy.
