    The earthquakes were fake looking and the floods were way too obviously CGI. The only effect that was cool was the initial explosion of Yellowstone National Park. Of course, that scene quickly lost its coolness when the fiery rock shower started and Jackson Curtis (played by John Cusack) outran the fire rain in an RV, complete with hairpin turns and jumping 30 foot canyons.
