    US orders state to offer ballots in Spanish  Sep 24, 2008
    US Representative Niki Tsongas of Lowell said yesterday that the measure would bring the farmhouse under the care of the National Park Service so it can become part of the Minute Man National Historical Park in Concord and Lexington. The farm belonged to Colonel James Barrett, a leader of the Middlesex Militia. (Boston Globe)

    In addition to better-known paved rail trails, such as the Nashua River Rail Trail, the Assabet River Rail Trail, and the Minuteman Bikeway, are unpaved trails such as those that link up to the Minuteman to Billerica and Concord and those that wind through the Minute Man National Historical Park in Lincoln and Concord.
