    The San Antonio Area Foundation received the funds from The Iraq-Afghanistan Deployment Impact Fund (IADIF) of the California Community Foundation in Los Angeles. The local organization has joined forces with The Dallas Foundation and the Permian Basin Area Foundation to re-grant a total of more than $11 million in IADIF funds to nonprofit organizations statewide to assist military veterans and their families impacted by service in Iraq/Afghanistan.
