    Since arriving at Carnegie Museum of Art in 2006, the Cleveland native has familiarized himself with 6,855 objects, installed new climate-controlled storage space, designed a new exhibition, overseen the renovation of the four Ailsa Mellon Bruce galleries and put together a catalog that showcases 250 select pieces from the collection ...     Correction: Because of a reporting error, a story in the April 20 Metro section on the Boston Public Library's sale of items from its special collection mischaracterized a recent sale made by the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pennsylvania. The museum put up four items for sale through Sotheby's, but only one sold, with the proceeds dedicated to buying new pieces for its decorative arts collection. (Boston Globe)
