    Anchorage's KTUU-TV reported that the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward shipped Marshmallow on Tuesday as Alaska Airlines cargo. Dye expects the trumpeter will spend most of the winter on the pond nursing a sagging wing. (Anchorage Daily News)

    Veterinarians and biologists from the Fish and Wildlife Service, USGS, the Alaska SeaLife Center and the North Slope Borough examined 71 carcasses and performed nine detailed necropsies.
