Familiar songs such as Come On-A My House, That Old Black Magic, Count Your Blessings (Instead of Sheep) and Mambo Italiano were interspersed with other songs that were not as well-remembered, but were presented with expertise and enthusiam. The story line, presented by the cast members individually or together, began with Rosemary and her sister, Betty, singing on the radio in 1945 and Rosemary s career began to skyrocket in the mid- 50s reaching into television and movie appearances. He's just out of a two-year stint in jail for assaulting the man who raped his sister, rich boy Sonny Stanton, who true to form knows how to drink and pop pills and run up gambling debts, but little else. Surviving My Mother': Mommy not so Nov 4, 2007

Since it comes from the writing-directing team who brought you the hit gay-ethnic comedy Mambo Italiano, you might expect Surviving My Mother which won the audience award at this year's Montreal World Film Festival to at least have energy and a functional audience-pleasing facility. The show is divided into six parts, each representing a decade of Clooney's life, and will feature many of her most memorable songs, including "Old Black Magic," "Too Old to Cut the Mustard," "I'll Be Seeing You," "Mambo Italiano" and perhaps her most famous song, "Come-a My House.".
