    DAYTONA BEACH -- Authorities said an Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University graduate -- described as "one of the best" by a former instructor -- had no opportunity to eject from his F-16 Fighting Falcon when it collided with another F-16 offshore near Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., on Thursday. Capt. Nicholas Giglio of the 20th Fighter Wing, who graduated and received his Air Force commission in 2003, was killed when his aircraft collided with another Shaw F-16 in midair over the Atlantic Ocean.
