    Effort tries to lasso recognition for national cowboy day  Sep 14, 2008

As legislation on gasoline prices, tax fixes and predatory lending languish, Congress has designated May 5-9 as National Substitute Teacher Recognition Week, and set July 28 as the Day of the American Cowboy.     Wild West Fest rides into Marshfield  Jun 13, 2008
    Marshfield - The sport of rodeo will be kicking up dirt at Marshfield Fairgrounds June 27 through 29 as the Spirit of the American Cowboy Foundation presents its first New England Wild West Fest in Marshfield. A Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association-sanctioned event, some of the nation s best riders will converge at the festival to compete in bull-riding, barrel-racing and bronc-riding performances, with each contestant riding to acquire points toward year-end finals.
