    Horse industry hopes for gee-up  Mar 20, 2009
    A large spectator event in Sydney this month, run by expatriate Linda Parelli and her American cowboy husband Pat, known as the `horse whisperers,' attracted far less people than their show two years ago. According to spectators, only half of the arena at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre was in use and much of the very expensive imported merchandise, made more expensive through exchange rates, remained unsold.
