    By Lorene Parshall, Staff Writer Friday, September 4, 2009 12:07 PM EDT LANSING -- The Michigan Library Association (MLA) is planning a rally on the steps of the State Capitol in Lansing on Thursday to oppose funding cuts considered detrimental to the future of the state s libraries. According to a press release put out by MLA, free bus transportation to the rally will be provided at two locations in Michigan. (Gaylord Herald Times, MI)
