About 25 committee members packed a meeting room at the Boulder Public Library Tuesday afternoon to begin to define an action plan in response to several racially motivated incidents in recent months, including the assault on CU-Boulder undergraduate Andrew Sterling, who suffered a broken jaw when an assailant punched him when Sterling was walking a friend home from downtown Boulder June 3. Police arrested Philip Martinez of Lafayette last week on suspicion of the crime. (Boulder Colorado Daily, CO)
