Date Search:
§ Searching by date is available only with the "Law Firm Pubs" SearchSet.
§ To invoke date searching, include the date as part of your search query.
§ The date syntax is [MM/DD/YYYY] (includes the brackets)
§ Dates can be combined with keywords to search for documents within a date range
--For example, the query string Sarbanes-Oxley [01/07/2003] would produce a list of documents containing the term "Sarbanes-Oxley" published since January 7, 2003.
§ Document publish dates are not available for all firms; undated results appear at the bottom of the list.
Date Ranges:
§ Start Date: To search for documents published since a specific date, enter just a single date within brackets: [MM/DD/YYYY]
--For example if you wanted to find documents published since January, 7 2003 enter [01/07/2003] into the search box.
§ On Date: To search for documents published on a specific date, enter the query as follows: [MM/DD/YYYY-MM/DD/YYYY] with the same start and end date.
--For example if you wanted to find documents published January 7, 2003 you could enter [01/07/2003-01/07/2003] into the search box.
§ Date range: To search for documents published between specific dates, enter the query exactly as follows: [MM/DD/YYYY-MM/DD/YYYY].
--For example to find documents published between January 01, 2003 and January 7, 2003 you would enter [01/01/2003-01/07/2003] into the search box.
--If the resulting list of documents is truncated (doesn't extend to the end date), then your range is too broad and you should narrow your date range.
