DUCKWORTH: Well, I have to say, Chris, that this is a really important discussion because when I was in Iraq and I was injured, thank goodness I had an advanced directive, that I had both a living will and a medical power of attorney that my husband was able to use to really execute my wishes. It describes "advance care planning," clearly stating (on page 424, lines 21-23) "the term advance care planning' means a consultation between the individual and a practitioner."
