I have been waiting for years for the art exhibition/fair that used to set up white tents in a circle around the City Hall area to come back to Brawley. Will it ever? I can’t remember it happening since I was younger. They had beautiful displays of all and any kind of art you’d like. Portraits, handcrafted jewelry, etc. They even had an awesome tent that did models of your hand in any position where you would dip your hand or yours and a friend/significant other’s hand into hot and cold wax, if I remember correctly. Getting to the point, I feel like I hardly ever see appreciation for arts in the Valley, let alone Brawley anymore, and it’s a shame. Will we ever get the opportunity to see this in Our Towns again?
