    "Miracle Worker" playwright William Gibson dies  Nov 29, 2008
    LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Playwright William Gibson, whose "The Miracle Worker" won awards and thrilled audiences with its hopeful tale of the teaching of deaf and blind Helen Keller, died at age 94 this week in Massachusetts. Gibson died on Tuesday, a representative of the Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington said on Friday. (Reuters)

Lee sat next to him on the stage of the Claudia Crosby Theater and interpreted the story of a young man who believed dreams can come true for those who are willing to work hard, sacrifice and never lose sight of the prize.
