    Mass. Squeezes Fidelity On ARS  Aug 21, 2008
    Massachusetts Secretary of State William Galvin told the Boston-based company's CEO and Chairman Edward Johnson by letter late Tuesday that he had "grave concern" about investors who have been unable to sell auction-rate securities since the market dried up in February. Massachusetts' reasoning is more or less the same as the New York attorney general's office and regulators: Galvin says Fidelity had presented the bonds as "safe, liquid, principal-protected investments.".
