    I also thought that because a key premise of the story was that deep-rooted fear of bees many people have, it would be worth risking a sting, should it happen, for a story that sought to illuminate the beneficial side of beekeeping, and dispel what some consider misconceptions about honey bees (they die when they sting, so they don't sting indiscriminately like wasps do, which have retractable stingers).
