    Speaking of that, and the suggestions that mid-wives are prepared for all emergencies and that they send the patients to the hospital if problems arise; y all do know that ACOG guidelines REQUIRE that an emergent c-section be done within 30 minutes of the determination that one is necessary, right ... You do need to be aware that the studies that ACOG quotes takes ALL homebirths to include unitentional, unattended births (oops my baby came out in the toilet), miscarriages, stillborns.
