     Work has begun on Main Street and First Avenue projects  Aug 6, 2009
    State Community Transportation Enhancement Program (CTEP) funding is being used to pay for the First Avenue project along with participation by property owners along the street, according to City Public Works Director Kurt Markegard. Markegard said a similar project has been discussed to replace sidewalks, curbs, gutters and driveways between First Avenue and Alder on the north side of Main Street using future CTEP funds and property owner participation.
