Bale attended Abilene Christian College during his freshman year and graduated from North Texas State in 1961 with a bachelor s degree in education, as well as an AFROTC reserve commission in the United states Air Force. Cadet Colonel Paige Jaeschke, a senior in the Champion High School Air Force JROTC group and the former group commander, recently received a four year AFROTC scholarship to the University of Texas at San Antonio.
