- A man was missing after his 15-foot sailboat was found Monday hung up on a reef in Lake Michigan's Green Bay about seven miles west of Washington Island, authorities said. The Door County sheriff's office said it was notified at 10:45 p.m. Sunday by the U.S. Coast Guard that the boater was overdue after going sailing off the shore of Liberty Grove.
